About

Like Magnum photographer Elliott Erwitt once said:

“To me, photography is an art of observation. It’s about finding something interesting in an ordinary place.”

This is exactly my approach to photography.

Most people in the Western civilization are way too hasty and don’t allow themselves the time to appreciate the ordinary but at the same time extraordinary things in life.

With my photos, I try to let people cherish these everyday scenes a little bit more and become an observer instead of merely a passer-by.

As a photographer, I’m not merely an observer. In think it’s impossible to take completely objective photos; lens choice, framing and depth of field are all subjective.

My images are the result of my own views and emotions, as well as those from the subject.
