Well, the title says it all, doesn’t it?
They’re shot on Ilford HP5 and Kodak Tri-X, with my Vivitar 35ES rangefinder. I had these scanned professionally as a 2500 dpi tif file. It’s a world of difference between these scans and my own. I didn’t add the borders; they’re a result of the scanning process. I kind of liked them, so I decided not to crop them off.
There are three more photos below!

This is the first time in years I shot some images on film. I recently bought a Vivitar 35ES rangefinder and these pictures are the result of it’s first test run. It is really awkward to shoot film again. I have to admit that I’m a bit lazy when it comes to aligning horizontal lines correctly while shooting. It’s a lot easier to straighten photos in Lightroom. It’s a bad idea to do this while shooting film though, as you can see on the photos.
Anyway, I really enjoy this little camera. And shooting film is fun too. There is a downside though. I’m really (unpleasantly) surprised by the cost of developing film and printing the photos. I’ll have to find a solution for this if I want to continue to shoot on film.
Well, enough with the talking. Check out the photos after the jump. I used Ilford Delta 400 for these photos if anyone cares ;)
